Freedom Day – A NSW Public Holiday

Let’s make freedom day an official New South Wales public holiday.

To paraphrase the great Bob Hawke, “Any boss who sacks anyone for not turning up on Freedom Day is a bum.”

After months of brutal lockdown, we need a day where we can down tools, get some sunshine, and celebrate getting the upper hand on COVID-19.

So let’s make Freedom Day a public holiday – Monday, 18 October – the day 70 per cent of adults in NSW will be double-vaccinated.

Sign our petition to send a message to the NSW Government that we deserve Freedom Day Monday October 18th 2021 as a public holiday.
