Australian products for Australian projects

The Australian Government should prioritise Australian products.

Australia produces some of the highest quality products available yet our Federal and State governments don’t prioritise Australian products on Australian projects.

As Governments set out to stimulate the economy in the coming months by spending huge money on public infrastructure projects – it’s essential that we back Australian products and create more Australian jobs.

This could generate tens of thousands of Australian jobs and support hundreds of thousands of manufacturing jobs.

Australia has the capacity to produce high-quality steel, aluminium, glass, and cement to meet most of the needs of major infrastructure projects. It’s time that our Governments started backing in Australian projects.
