Workplace Wins for New Organiser - The Australian Workers' Union : The Australian Workers' Union

Andy Hacking started as an AWU WA Branch organiser in 2019, and as a new organiser has been involved in his fair share of wins since he started.

His highlights over the past few months include overturning a termination at BHP and a potential termination at the Water Corporation, and winning backpay for a member at the Water Corporation and a change of duties for a pregnant employee at Nufarm.

He also represented and assisted members collectively, by reaching an in-principle EBA agreement with the Kleenheat (Wesfarmers) LPG/LNG production facility in Kwinana, and recently visited CBH work sites in the Wheatbelt region and met with members, gathering feedback in preparation for the upcoming EBA.
