AWU Workplace Health & Safety Alert

With the outbreak of coronavirus worsening, the AWU has been hard at work
making sure worker safety is being taken seriously.

We’re extremely proud of the work done by AWU members in Queensland
Health during this critical time and we’re doing everything we can to keep
you safe at work.

We’ve written to Queensland Health seeking further urgent assurances on what measures are currently being taken to keep all Queensland Health workers safe across all
workgroups and occupations.

We’ve also made it clear to Queensland Health that AWU members can and
will refuse to work if it puts their health and safety at imminent risk.
